The Graduate Press is a student initiative from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies based in Geneva Switzerland. Created on May 2018, it is a student-run publication that is independent of the Institute and serves as a platform for students to write about whatever they want, whether it is about politics, academic affairs, opinion pieces, student interests, and many other things that students are interested in. We accept submissions from the entire student body.
Created in May 2018 as a student initiative, The Graduate Press evolved into the student-run publication of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies based in Geneva, Switzerland. Independent from the Institute, it aims to serve as a bilingual platform for student voices. Covering student life and interests, international politics, academic affairs, and opinion pieces, the Graduate Press accepts submissions in both English and French from the entire student body. Here are the top pieces from this semester:

A fortnightly column curated for the GradPress by the Feminist Collective in collaboration with QISA, it aims to be an open and eclectic forum of discussion on issues concerning institutional and lived inequalities due to hierarchical power relations amongst people of different sex, gender and sexual orientation.

Our team is always on the lookout for new voices from the IHEID community. As an independent, student-led publication of the Graduate Institute, most of the articles published on our website and our monthly publication are submissions from the student body. We wish to keep it this way. If you have an opinion piece, a features article, poetry, stories, photo galleries, artworks, or works you want to publish on our page, feel free to send them to us, and support the presence of the press in the Institute. You can find the guidelines for submission here.
The Graduate Press also publishes a print edition every semester. Our latest publication, Revolutions, can be downloaded here. Keep an eye on our page for more information about our next publication.
