PhD Forum is a gathering designed to address ongoing PhD student concerns about academic life at the Graduate Institute. It happens once per semester, and it is a chance for students to share opinions and views on both general and particular issues related to their studies.
The Forum represents an opportunity to students to engage directly in decisions that will be delivered to the Graduate Institute administration. Following the Forums, GISA a) produces a report that is shared with the Graduate Institute community and b) meets with different actors in the administration – Direction of Studies, Administrative Direction, Student Services, etc – to discuss solutions to the issues raised. The results are later publicised, shared with all the students at the latest in the next forum.
